McAvoy clearly hits Anderson principle point of frikkin contact to the head and damn near knocks him out and in Bettmans NHL it’s a 2 minute check to the head. When or if is this league going to ever protect its players heads?

Hockey players are not normal:
Joe Pavelski just revealed he had 8 staples in head: "Getting into the training room and kind of sitting there & getting the first staple in the head was when the first goal horn went off. By the time the fourth staple was going in it was going off again. It was like, 'cool.'"

Spezza in 06 68G and 90 points and 10G and 14points in the playoffs
Spezza in 07 67G and 87 points and 20G and 22points in the playoffs
He was amazing these 2 years.
Last year in Ottawa he had 66points in 75 games. Not great but not bad either in 2014.

100% agree. I've been watching all thr Dallas games and I cheered when Spezza scored. He's still got it..that and the no-look drop passes.
