To OTT: Gustavsson, Cole, 2019 3rd round pick To PIT: Brassard, Dunn, 2018 3rd round pick, and Lindbergh from VGK To VGK: Ryan Reaves, 4th round pick
Vegas retains 40% of Brassard's salary
I THINK that's everything
Hey, what happened to that Pittsburgh #1 pick

Gotcha. Given that the league rejected it for being "too complicated".... your scenario may be too straightforward!

I’m guessing that’s the gist of the original version with all transactions at once.

Hearing @NHL has rejected the Brassard trade unless @penguins @Senators @GoldenKnights can restructure the trade to leagues satisfaction.

Maybe Bettman is forcing Eug to sign a notice of sale to allow this trade to go through. This is downright embarrassing.

Now, that being said, I’m sure ufa's will be avoiding ottawa like the plague, so it’ll have to come in a trade.
and, that’s the thing about moving Ryan’s contract. Cap space means nothing if no one wants to play for your team.
I agree. The person who needs to move most starts with "M" and his last name ends with "elnyk."

PIT-OTT deal involving Brassard is ultra-complicated, so much so that Brassard will likely first be traded to a team other than PIT. Then flipped to PIT. Hearing that third team is likely VGK. Potential for layers of salary retention.

good to know the gm is running this based on his hurt feelings.
I’d take anything Yost says with a huge rock of Gibraltar sized salt.
