Watched a rocket go up today. Neat but nothing like the old space shuttles.
When I lived there a few years ago I couldn’t believe how the locals were proud of those rocket launches 🚀 and that they were excited about the launches.
When I lived in OC I checked the launch schedule monthly and added them to my calendar.
Yet after DECADES of VBerg launches…locals would still think it was an alien invasion.
😂😂😂😂

Ah, does your avatar image update signify a geographic change? What rocket? Falcon 9 in FL?
I decided to get away from the snow for a while.
What city is this? I know it’s the east coast
New Smyrna Beach
I did not spend many sober nights up there in Daytona, as a tourist or when I worked the state of Florida and had to spend the night there in Daytona

Saw a few space shuttles go up at night. That was something to see.
When I lived in Fort Lauderdale, some of the neighbors would go out on the beach or in the high rises and watch it at night too I never did

Which switch is harder to time, going into winter or coming out of it?
I always try and put my snows on early Nov. so I'm usually safe. Spring is a crap shoot. A lot of people rush to change their tires as soon as the snow is gone. But we can still get snow into April.

Spring change for sure. You either spend a week driving on the winter tires at 27°C, or encounter the sneaky last dump in mid-april.

It had better be gone by the time I get home.
At least I haven't scheduled the tire swap yet!
I think it's supposed to be 22C here on Wed.
