I don't think it's necessarily been boring, but I do think some of us may be too exhausted to focus on said game and are in a highly distractible state.

Can we do a collective dumb penalty dab for Brannstrom and his 3 penalties so far tonight?
Given the close standings at the top of the leaderboard I feel compelled to check your card before answering that.

3 times during this game I have picked up my phone to do something, and completely forgotten what it is by the time I had it unlocked.
That was my reaction when my work phone rang, "WHO THE HELL IS...oh, wait."

Earlier today I was looking out the front window at all the green areas on the front lawn. Now back to shoveling again. Depressing.
Still rain/ice pellets here. Should change to snow in a couple of hours. It's going to be messy out there.

Did I miss anything in the first few minutes of 2nd? Any smelling salts yet?

ooooh. I kinda remember the Animaniacs, I had a roommate who loved to get stoned and watch it.
That show was in a weird spot age wise for the Saturday Morning Cartoons generation.
Slapstick humor for the younger kids, but the contextual humor was totally aimed for an older audience.

WHY CAN'T i GET MY DAMN IMAGE TO SHOW UP??? LOL
-- Edited by SensKat on Thursday 17th of February 2022 07:17:52 PM
Lol, some images don't paste you have to attach first. I have not yet determined the rhyme or reason.
And, it's a good thing we're using digital ink to dab these cards!
I don't bother pasting image directly into thread anymore. I use the add mage button and put the URL to the image. I also resize right there if too BIG
I try to limit myself to memes because I can't be bothered to resize but I do hate how big images eff up the layout until it falls to the net page. lol
I usually right click on image and "block element" from uBlock Origin.
Lol, that is surprisingly brilliant.

have you guys tried Quordle yet? More challenging version of Wordle
No, but I've been playing Worlde. Guess the country pictured. after each guess, it gives you distance and direction.
I'm 2 and 4 so far I think. Nailed it today.

It's no Ottawa Council meeting that's for sure.

Oh boy... That's needs thinking. Is using Excel cheating? Asking for a friend. ;)

Yep - I think that was part of the appeal though. It was a more grown-up version of our childhood favs

That is tragic to hear. But it might be just those few years between us that made the difference. This was on when I was in high school.
