They are saying it was the right call. 2-handed baseball-swing.
Kypreos even arguing that just because he came back, we have no idea how much pain Stone was in when that connected.
Thanks very much Kat, I was hoping they weren't apologizing for that jerk
it was the same in OT against the leafs on Saturday when the habs were losing their composure on a nothing game at that point. Subban clearly high sticks a leaf player in the face and goes nuts when he gets a penalty for it.

I really can't understand Subban's insistence that he didn't do anything, during the play and after the play. Just f**king ridiculous

His antics worked already to get out of a high sticking call. The stripes keep feeding that child, so of course he's going to throw tantrums.

Plus on the replay you see the ref point to the habs bench, not the penalty box, indicating he had already decided it was 5 and a game. Stone had not gone to the dressing room at this point.

all true, but Hammond does not look the same now. i'd keep him in cuz he's been great in thirds but dont let him get embarrassed.

They survived a brutally played 2nd on the road in the playoffs at Montreal only down by a goal. I'll take it.
Could be worse.™

Much as the D has been suspect tonight, he has let in 4 goals in one period. If he's shaken, we need to get him out. There aren't that many games in a series that you can throw one away.
