Flames fire Hartley. Sens are not the only team firing a coach a year after winning the Jack Adams award.
Kind of sounds like Ottawa.

So one year the Flames way overacheive and are known for 3rd period comebacks and the next those comebacks don't happen and that's it for Hartley. Brian Burke has his fingerprints all over this firing doesn't he?

Kardinal's favorite player will not finish the season. Kadri was suspended 4 games for a cross check to the head of Detroit's Luke Glendening.
Last week he was fined $5,000 for diving, which Kadri disputes "Diving and making something a little more obvious is two different things."
The NHL rulebook states.....
Rule 64 – Diving / Embellishment
64.1 Diving / Embellishment – Any player who blatantly dives, embellishes a fall or a reaction, or who feigns an injury shall be penalized with a minor penalty under this rule. A goalkeeper who deliberately initiates contact with an attacking player other than to establish position in the crease, or who otherwise acts to create the appearance of other than incidental contact with an attacking player, is subject to the assessment of a minor penalty for diving / embellishment.
64.2 Minor Penalty - A minor penalty shall be imposed on a player who attempts to draw a penalty by his actions (“diving / embellishment”).
64.3 Fines and Suspensions – As outlined in League issued memorandum distributed to all teams prior to the 2015-2016 season
Yup, "Diving and making something a little more obvious (ie. embellishment) is two different things." But they are both covered under the same rule jackass.

Bab**** on state of #Leafs: "We're in a much better situation now, probably than I could have even hoped."
Notice the difference between the Ontario teams heading to non playoff land and what their coaches think about their current crappyness, Laffs will get a top 3 pick to go along with all the young guys they got coming and the Sens will get something I guess.

Reminds me of Dubnyk from Edmonton.
Seems that having a defense in front of you does make a difference.

Let them put him on a high pedestal and let the pressure mount next season. Poor kid, they're gonna ruin him.
He'll never make it to the Hall of Fame until he's run out of hogtown and ends up with a real hockey team.
