OK. So Weber has 10yrs. left on his contract. Probably helps explain the trade.

- Habs send Subban to Preds for Weber
- Stamkos to sign eight-year, $68 million deal with Lightning
wasn't expecting this kind of impact from the "Three Amigos Summit"

this is a lesson in "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". HNIC was a successful show for 50 + yrs. then Rogers ruined it overnight by trying to change a formula that worked perfectly well. But, that's what corporate suits do to things.
Elliott Friedman must be back too. I liked him and I liked Stock. I have no idea who Hirsch, Hextall or Desjardins even are. I didn't mind Strombo on that talk show he used to do on CBC but as a NHL host he wasn't Ron MacLean.
