Why is it that weird things always happen with this team when they are in California?
California sucks?
Hey now...
Lol, well it’s only the lack of water, the heat, the cost of living, fires and the fact they let Tkachuk get beat up like that

Cap Friendly still has $354K cap space for the Sens. Not sure if they still have to pay him. Probably do as his contract would have been done, but the buyout is spread over two times years left.

I think Chuckies contract has a lot to do with that.
Exactly
They also signed someone else to a big contract but can't remember who it was.
Batherson
yeah, at just under $5M. They also have just under $4M in buyouts.

Speaking of the salary cap floor.... if we lose Murray, does that put the Sens below the floor?
I suspect any deal for Murray would include taking on some Walking Dead salary from the other team.
They put him on waivers though.... there might not be a deal
Cap floor is $60M and currently at $72M. Didn't think they were 12 above the floor.
I think Chuckies contract has a lot to do with that.

hmmm, maybe all the covid callups had enough of a cushioning effect.
Cap Friendly also has them at 24 on the roster. Limit is 23. So I guess they either had to put Murray on waivers or send Gus back down.

ooooh, right. I forgot they had hit the floor before signing him.
Everything is happening!
Sure, and they're also reviewing it.
Also fight dab.
