I think it's a bit silly. And it might not even happen because of the cold.
This is an important tournament for these kids, I don't understand why they feel the need to turn it into a sideshow.

Well yes, I guess I should say that I DO understand why they are doing it. What I don't understand is how they think it's ok.

Yes, thank you! I feel like it would be like having a Stanley Cup finals game outdoors. The NHL is a product of 82 season games.. they want to use one for an outdoor gimmick, whatever. But these kids are trying hard to make it. I'd hate for someone to get hurt because of cold/bad conditions.

What do you guys think about the Canada/US game being played outdoors? I don't mins outdoor games but I think of them more gimmicky than serious.... and the tournament is pretty serious. I guess they're not doing a playoff game outdoors but I feel it's almost as bad. Am I just being an elite purist though? Lol

I watched the first period and half of the second- if we can't get our act together in the first periods the Americans will eat us alive.

Game 2 on at the same time as the Sens game, so I'll probably flip during commercials.

Can anyone recommend a stream for the games? I couldn't find one this morning and I was half-asleep so I listened to it on Team 1200.
Found one! Never mind.

I like the world juniors tourney. Lol it's a lot of very hard, fast skating but they don't quite have the heads for the game yet.
hell of a lot more entertaining than any sens game this year.
Amen.. with the Canadian team I feel like we could actually win a game
