That zoomed in camera angle compresses the point of view and makes the rink look narrow.

Would much prefer that this game was played indoors. To important to allow the elements to screw it up. But I guess there are still a lot of people who believe these outdoor games something special.

Alrighty, Canada vs. USA.. typically this game is always on New Year's Eve and played indoors... hopefully the outdoor ice won't impede them too much... or the *cough* "cold" temperatures.

...I had to double check the score to make sure. I watched NHL games tonight assuming US/Slovakia would be a Canada/Slovakia style slaughter for the Americans. ....what the hell happened? lol
