Shane Pinto facing 42 game suspension for violating NHL gambling rules.
gambling ads being force fed to us 24/7. Did anyone really think this wasn't going to happen? And it will happen again.
Yes and it’s 41 games, every player in every league knows the rules about gambling yet they still do it. It’s now like speeding in your car. We all know the rules yet everybody does it except me

I was sure he'd be happy retiring as a Sabre... Another side-effect of the ownership change?

Watching some of the Tampa - Nashville game. Why did they trade Nick Paul?
They can't afford to field a full squad along with Vancouver without dipping into some weird rule how could they ever afford a playoff hero like Paul?

This Norris thing is ****ed. Even when he does start, who's got any confidence he'll last any length of time?
Sounds like Russell has more confidence in the Callups Hockey Pool and Bingo games.
It might be time to consider moving him. I like him as a player but I think he is probably injury prone. Use that money to sign Pinto.
what would you get for him? 7 years left on a contract for a broken player.
He’s untradeable until he proves he can play again. 7 years at 7+ is a problem.
He's not starting the season and is out indefinitely. I guess he'll go in LTIR Now. Sens can sign Pinto and figure things out if Norris able to play later this year.

Jacob Bernard-Docker and Egor Sokolov cleared waivers. I'm glad nobody claimed them. They are still young enough that they may develop into useful players.
Another #1 pick that they are getting nothing out of and Sokolov was a 2nd or 3rd round pick that is basically worthless now. As I keep saying how does this guy still have this job? New owner needs to put his people in charge.

So with Norris hurting and Pinto unsigned, who's going to play centre? Besides Strudel.
