And another penalty... yeah, some things never change.

So they are. The boards look a little more cluttered this year, actually... looks like they shrunk the size of each ad a bit to fit in more of them...

no :(
two wrongs definitely don't make a right
I'm sorry, I forgot. It's preseason, though... so it doesn't count yet, right?

Just read that Brian Lee retired last October due to a reoccurring knee injury. Always thought that he was going to be a better player than he managed to become.
so at the time there was never any doubt?
He was a big kid with decent wheels and better than average hands. But he just didn't seem to want to accept that if he wanted to stay in the league he had to get better defensively.

Really? I hadn't heard that. It's too bad, he had potential to be so much more.

This Chabot kid. Wow, super impressive. Moves the puck with ease but doesn't just relay it, actually holds on and makes intelligent plays. Reminds me of a young #65, not as quick but very smart. And the two of them are actually clicking pretty well.
If I were management, I'd be really tempted to spoil him and bring him on the team too early. Glad he'll be going back to junior, then maybe a little AHL seasoning and finally come in stronger, smarter, quicker. He'll be a beast in a couple of years!
