“Not going well in Ottawa. Coach being booed in the stands, today Patrick was seen in a restaurant in Kanata. I don’t usually get insider information, but when I do I give it. To go to Kanata at a time like this is quite interesting, we will follow”
For someone not local-reference educated…is there literally no other reason for him to be in Kanata? As I understand it, Kanata is "outside" the city center so is this like HUGE?? Or just completely coincidental and blow out of proportion?

The Snes deserve everything that’s happening on the ice with this coach. How does he still have this job? Look at Vancouver they were every bit as dysfunctional as the Snes and kept going thru coaches till they found one who instills discipline and getting the best out of his players in Toccet. He’s a Spittin Chiclets favorite and like it or not the young guys in hockey like those guys and they talk like those guys especially out on the ice.

Whoever they hire to be the next GM, it has to be someone with experience. With the Sens moving into a 10 year window of potentially having great teams, they can't have anyone learning on the job.
"window of UNPARALLED SUCCESS"...Is what you meant

I highly recommend listening to the Coming in Hot podcast from today with Shawn Simpson. Tons of interesting stuff said about dorion behind the scenes.
It was very illuminating, brought back a lot of bad memories of things that this guy did that weren’t good
Also, brought out how far over his skis Dorian was for this job.

There is a LOT to unpack from that press conference.
I’ll gather my thoughts and fire off a column in the next few hours.
But one thing Andauler clarified for us at the end of the press conference is he wants this to be seen as a “mutual parting” between Sens and Dorion.

Thanks Russell. It was shocking, to say the least but maybe now we can finally move on from Melnyk.

Chabot out for 4-6 weeks...why does it feel like there's a curse on this team?
you can bury euge, but you can't shake the curse that easily.
I was wrong about the Dadanov trade, he was traded the year they missed the playoffs not last year. Dorian who has put together this non playoff squad for 7 years is in danger of losing a 1st Round pick as punishment.
Well, he’s not in danger of losing a first round pick anymore. He lost a first round draft pick. He needs to go he and the coach. But if they hire Peter Chiarelli, that will be just as bad as this guy that they just get rid of if they get rid of him. That guy destroyed the Edmonton Oilers for a few years
wouldn't you think its going to be Staios?

Patrick Roy was apparently spotted in a Kanata restaurant.
