There’s Senators selections Spezza and Yashin only spectacular at times picks and Phillips very steady. Bonk was OK and Daigle and Berard were nothings for Ottawa. Not exactly Kane and Toews or Crosby Malkin and Fluery

Some talk on the radio today about, if Gaborik isn't bought out or can't be, buying out Burrows. It doesn't really save any money once you play a replacement, but it gets him off the team and opens a spot. I like the idea for both reasons.

just saw on Twitter that Marion Gaborik is hurt and leaving the team to go to LA and see a specialist. He's been a bit brittle for an NHL player over his career so I'm guessing no one's surprised by this
