Rumors of Hoffman’s GF harassment of the Karlsson’s has been brewing for a while now. And that to the orgs handling of the Lee situation, the embarrassment of the relocation talk on the eve of the outdoor game and ostracizing the city during negotiations for a downtown arena... well I can’t imagine the league is at all happy with the Eug right now.
Hopefully there is some truth to the more recent rumors that Melnyk needed the league to step in with a bridge loan to make payroll and payments on the team’s debt. The team won’t move with new local ownership willing to step up. The question is how much collateral damage is Melnyk willing to cause out of spite.

we may very well be finding out shortly that the sens covered this up as well as the randy lee thing. If this comes to pass, and I suspect it will, everyone will have to go. Bettman will have to step in and clean house.
This all starts at the top of any organization, Melnyk is the absolute worst owner in NorthAmerica sports. I keep thinking this guy has not acted very grateful for just being alive after what he went thru.

The Senators drama is almost a nice break from the Canada/US drama threatening to destroy North America.

I'm sure won't. I'm pessimistic but I think right now Melnyk's mandate is to throw away money so...

According to Darren Dreger, good chance Hoffman is going to be traded, probably at the draft.
Considering what Hoffman has been able to do here, imagine if he was on a team he liked (cuz I think its no secret he's not too happy with Ottawa), with more talent and an offensive minded coach. He could become an elite scorer. Trading him is nuts, but if they do, they had better get a boatload of sure things for him.

Can anybody remember any good news concerning the Sens since the pukes eliminated them last season. There have been deaths, firings, people quitting the organization, losing Methot in the expansion draft, EK possibly being traded or deciding to become a free agent, owner deciding to take over running the show, threatening to move the team, sell the team, constant rumors Melnyk cannot raise the money for a new arena and the Lebeton project, all topped off by a horrible season. And we didn't get the draft pick we hoped for. No wonder I'm depressed. Thank god for the RedBlacks. I hope.
Daigle scored 4 goals on parliament hill!

The sens are such a messed up organization. now, their children's wear is assaulting babies.
Lee should not be fired, yet. Due process and all. But he should absolutely be temporarily relieved of his duties until this is cleared up, one way of the other. The fact the sens are keeping him in place is just so braindead and clueless. Its like they are trying to drive their fans away.

Randy Lee been charged with some kind of bad behavior in Buffalo with a 19 year old shuttle bus driver. This could be anything but it ain't good for Randy Lee on first blush. He's not guilty of anything till something is proven.

Yeah, please don't let it be that EK65 goes to Vegas. If that happens I don't want to live on this planet anymore.
no kidding, if EK65 leaves I'm thinking of not liking Eugene Melnyk
