listened to Elliotte Friedman on a podcast this past week in Edmonton and they were discussing how J.Lupul hadn't scored a goal in forever and of course I thought that bast*rd will score this week vs. Ottawa and he did. Twice

-they are now guaranteed 4 of 6 points vs. the Leafs in this stretch, that's like winning 2 and losing only 1 game even if they do the unthinkable tonite. #alwaysthebrightside
-that was an important point right? cause now they can tie the Pens on Tuesday even if the unthinkable happens tonite right?
when the hell did you get so bloody optimistic?

but if you do want to look at the downside even if they do get in the playoffs their reward is the NYRangers, who aren't the Rangers of Torts from 3 years ago. This Rangers team is much better now

It means a lot to them. I'm sure they were just drooling at the thought of messing up our playoff run.
the best revenge would to beat the Pens Tuesday, but of course the Sens killer Malkin is back after being injured

It seems nobody learned from the first shootout goal, and kept trying WHAT HADN'T BEEN WORKING ALL GAME. Ugh.
I feel sorry for Hammond; he didn't let the team down, the rest of the team let his great work down.
Still, they got a point. It could be worse™.
