Has anyone ever remembered someone as happy and as goofy and drunk with the Stanley Cup like Ovechkin and some of his Caps teammates have been? Running all over Washington DC like drunken teenagers at their first college party

I wouldn't say OVI is in a party mood but he showed up at my grandson's bday party today!

Happiest guy in the NHL tonight, Gary Buttman. Now he doesn't have to face 20 - 25 angry owners who have been trying to win the Stanley cup for decades and explain how an expansion team was handed enough talent to win the cup in their first year.

I wouldn't bet on Vegas now.

They've lost their jump. Or, the caps have stolen it, more accurately. They look unstoppable now and Vegas looks like they are full of doubt.

I think their tanks are empty. Their success had a lot to do with going hard every shift. It looks like that's taken a toll.

but they've had a week off between every series.
