Yeah in today's run and gun NHL (especially in the Eastern conference) it makes no sense to attempt a stifling defensive shell, especially when it doesn't work.

 I don’t know if “ the system” works in today’s nhl. Plus, I don’t think the players enjoy playing it. It sure doesn’t sell tickets.
