He looked completely bagged after the goal. When have we ever seen that from him before? He's not right.
So with hindsight being perfect it seems he rushed to get back in the lineup, I wonder if resting now will help him at all?? It's totally come off the rails
He definitely came back too soon because he wanted to be ready for the Sweden games.
Resting now... it's hard to say. He needs to adjust his game to his new normal, I think.... and he's going to struggle with that. Right now he's making mistakes and not able to do things that he used to, which is screwing with his confidence, and making him make more mistakes....

Only thing I didn't like about his decisions was some of the bad coaching fits he hired for Ottawa
He was a great coach himself, but he stumbled some on the hires, for sure. Although some of that was likely because Melnyk has always refused to pay for the top coaches.

Murray was the best coach we ever had.
Totally agree. I wish he had never moved into the GM role.
