is the 5M wanna be man Methot ever going to be back this season? it will interesting to see if this defense looks and plays better once he's back--they'll know whether he's worth that money or should

he's skating full gear so he's getting close.

Glimmer of hope:  the Sens are outscoring the opposition 13-7 in the third period so far this season.

Bad news: we are playing the Bruins tonight.

Well... down by 2 going into the 3rd. Bruins are one of the best in the league at protecting a lead. The Sens are pesky. Could be interesting.

Boston guys have been going on and on about blowing this lead same 2 goal lead vs. Minnesota the other nite.

Karlsson has to start thinking some D. He's been awful in that sense so far this year.

It's definitely his biggest drawback.  The offense that he brings is nice, but his JOB is to play defense, and he forgets that.

A few years ago, he was good defensively. Now, he's very negligent on that side of the puck. Needs to pick his spots better.

Yeah, he had one season where he was good, because he was constantly getting slammed for it... unfortunately after his injury, he seems to have forgotten everything he learned again.

that shot right there could of easily been a goal by ZBad, Rask is an other worldly goalie

Imagine if Cowen had made two mistakes in 90 seconds that lead to goals?   Not a good night for EK -- he's trying to do too much offensively and needs to be better defensively.

they are the Bruins and a better team than Ottawa, especially when the goaltending isn't other worldly
