Latest sale rumours. (from RSU facebook page)

"the buying group has already paid down a huge chunk of Melnyks debt and the purchase of the team is going through final stages...Also heard that Alfie is involved and is going to be the face of the buying group...and the group is apparently led by Guy Laliberte and Andre Demarais (the Cirque du Soleil guys)"

 There are rumours that Melnyk is looking for one or more investors with big money to help finance the Lebreton Flats development. Could involve becoming part owner(s) of the hockey club.

Has anyone noticed how much our schedule sucks this season? So many back to back games and then like, 3-4 days off in the middle... no wonder we can't get any kind of rhythm going we don't even play at consistent intervals.

How expensive were they if you don't mind my asking? Also I totally didn't realize Cammilieri still played. They traded him for Jokinen which... I don't know... 3rd/4th liners for each other I guess?
